NATIONAL ACCOUNTANTS CONVENTION 4.0: EMPOWERING ACCOUNTANTS: AI TECHNOLOGY, PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY & ESG
Kuala Lumpur, 20 November 2025 – The National Accountants Convention 4.0, themed “Empowering Accountants: AI Technology, Professional Responsibility & ESG,” was successfully held, serving as a strategic platform that gathered accounting industry practitioners and professionals from across the nation at the World Trade Centre (WTC).
This prestigious convention served as an essential avenue to navigate the challenging accounting landscape, drive the ethical integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), address ESG regulatory and reporting challenges, and empower the accounting profession to remain relevant and highly impactful.
The convention was honorably officiated by YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia.
Throughout the conference, various industry agendas and resolutions were raised. These included strategies to address audit exemption policies, the role of the Accountants Act in shaping the future of the profession, and dedicated briefings on Shariah Audit and Halal compliance.
The convention was further highlighted by the recognition of outstanding figures through the Accountant Icon Awards. It also marked a historic milestone with the official launch of Koperasi Firma Akauntan Bertauliah Melayu (KAMCAF) Berhad.
